Sometimes there is someone that catches their eye and even if they love you they may want to know what else is out there. Sometimes it's a powerplay. Cheaters are often repeat offenders. Perri L replied: 'There are a lot of reasons why people cheat. When a marriage is involved people assume that one spouse cheats on the other because the other is not doing their job. Not true in a majority of cases. A person may cheat in a relationship because they are not happy with themselves. The person may be insecure. The person may feel like they screw up everything so why not the relationship. The person may want out of the relationship and getting caught cheating is a good exit stratedgy for them. Sex addiction. And the list goes on.There is no answer to why people cheat. Only the person that cheats knows why they cheat and sometimes they may not even know.'

Many professors even allow you to have notes during the exam since it doesn't always help.'

So I weighed the pros and cons and decided to go for it. I almost got caught but I guess the monitor didn't have any proof so she couldn't say anything.In my college algebra class I did program things in it. I semi-cheated in American Literature last semester during the final. Some people in the class before ours told us which poems and other works were on the exam and what the essay questions were. So I just studied that stuff and made an A.'

Even though I went to a school where a lot of my classes/ tests were in rooms with 100+ people, the idea of cheating didn't cross my mind. It was also sort of like "I worked my ass off to study, so you better not think of looking at my paper" and most of the time I didn't trust other people enough to cheat off them. Plus my classes (other than GE) were humanities and social sciences so it's almost impossible to cheat on an essay exam.In high school however, cheating was practically the norm. We would all do AP Econ homework together at lunch, and my physics tests were a team effort. The teachers didn't seem to care, and it was almost more fun to find ways to cheat than to find ways to study. No one did things like steal answer keys or hack computer systems to change grades, but it was very normal for you to tap your best friend to see if #4 is A or B.'

Colleges take cheating VERY seriously.Let me put it to you this way, if you get caught and your professor decides to fail you for the course, YOU GOT LUCKY.Most of the time you will have to deal with the dean. That is not fun. The dean has the right to suspend or even expel you. Even if you do not get expelled, he can have a notation placed on your transcript that says you committed academic dishonesty. If you get that notation on your transcript, you will not be getting into other universities and you may not even get in to a junior college. My junior college was very strict about stuff like that.'

You just needed to download the program and have a cord connecting the calculators. iPods and mp3 players are becoming a popular method, because you just voice record your notes and then sync them to your player. I remeber reading an article on CNN.com about banning iPods from the classroom just for the reasoning of cheating.'

preludicrous replied: 'This will only help if you have long hair...Have an earbud from your iPod in one ear, with the wire running into your shirt, (all covered by hair, ideally). Have your iPod, or any other MP3 player hidden in your shirt or in your pants, playing a recording of you reciting your class notes or whatever you need to cheat with.'

JB replied: 'digital cheating is overrated. soon teachers will have frequency scanners that scramble devices. best to do it old school: write the answers on the insides of your eyelidsor just study. it's probably easier to memorize the stuff than figure out a way to cheat and not get caught.'

DJ Cam replied: 'I have heard this for years. I have never seen a way for it to be done.The way they were cheated in the past was by stringing the bill exchanger. One would laminate a 5 dollar bill with an extra long piece and put the bill in when the credits registared then put it out and repeat. Bill changers have been changed so this is not possible.In the early 80's draw 80 poker machines were beat by slugs and the old quarter on a string trick.'
